Festival of Social Inclusion with the Assistance of Animals Workshop 'Expression of Poultry'.
MIPoL also participated in the Festival of Social Inclusion with the Assistance of Animals UniAmoLodi, held at the University Veterinary Campus in Lodi from October 5th to 7th.
Born from an idea of professors from the University of Milan and local institutions in the Lodi area, UniAmoLodi aims to raise awareness about social inclusion and initiate inclusive pathways with the assistance of animals, through testimonies, in-depth discussions, social and community events.
On Saturday, October 7th, the researchers from the MIPoL project organized the workshop 'Expression of Poultry' for families in the area.
Professor Luisa Zaniboni from UniMI (second from the right) and Dr. Lucia Suprero (first from the right), a veterinarian specialized in applied ethology and animal welfare, who created the images exhibited during the "Expression of Poultry" workshop.
With them, the staff of the Cooperative Tempo per l'infanzia – Fattoria Parco Trotter - of the Municipality of Milan, which provides school and educational services, and has also received recognition from the Lombardy Region for assisted education activities with animals (poultry and cats). UniMI has donated four Milanino breed chickens to them.
