Project staff of "Milanino" Lombard breed chicken project.
The Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences at the University of Milan promotes the "Milanino" Lombard breed chicken project for the protection of biodiversity in Italian poultry breeds, specifically the Lombard chicken breed.
It is part of the Regional Agricultural Research Program with financial support from the Lombardy Region.
The project carries out qualified research activities aimed at conserving Lombard poultry breeds and studying their potential for animal husbandry valorization.
The researchers from the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences and the Department of Veterinary Sciences at the University of Turin are involved in the "Milanino" Lombard breed chicken project.
