Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences of the University of Milan promotes the project on "Milanino" chickens, a Lombard breed of biodiversity.

It is part of the Regional Agricultural Research Program with financial contribution from the Lombardy Region.
The project carries out a qualified research activity aimed at conserving Lombard poultry breeds and studying their potential for zootechnical valorization.
Researchers from the Department of Agricultural, Forestry, and Food Sciences and the Department of Veterinary Sciences of the University of Turin are part of the Lombard breed "Milanino" chicken project.
