The MIPoL project aims to create a network of “Poultry Farmers”
who contribute to livestock farming and the preservation of the Milanino breed in the Lombardy region. The farms that have decided to join the MIPoL project as Poultry Farmers are listed below:
CASCINA BAGAGGERA
Cascina Bagaggera is an organic and social farm founded in 1995 by a family that took over and renovated a group of farmhouses dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, located in the Curone Regional Park in Brianza Lecchese.
It is a social farm that cultivates BIO meadows and cereals, raises animals including goats, chickens, laying hens, and pigs, and regenerates the land.

CASCINA VERTAGGERA
Cascina Vertaggera is a farm established in 2019 after years of amateur breeding, in an old family-owned farmhouse located in the province of Lecco in the heart of the Montevecchia and Curone Valley Park.
The farm raises goats and poultry and also has a dairy where fresh and aged goat cheeses are produced.

LA GIRELLA
La Girella is an organic farm located at Cascina Portico San Carlo, in Calcinate in the province of Bergamo.
Pigs such as the Mora Romagnola are raised there, along with rustic cattle breeds like the Cabannina, the Valpadana, and the Bruna, as well as poultry.

CASCINA ROCCA BRIVIO
Cascina Rocca is a farm managed by the Altrocchi brothers, located in San Giuliano Milanese. It raises chickens using an extensive indoor system without feed, GMOs, or antibiotics, and uses organic cereals produced by the farm itself.
Additionally, the farm is involved in the production and direct sale of free-range chickens and guinea fowls.

Emiliana Bertoli Agricultural Company
The Emiliana Bertoli Agricultural Company is an agritourism and organic farm located in the province of Bergamo.
The farm produces organic berries and jams, and over time, it has also added ancient varieties of fruits and grains.

L’Acqua Viva is a farm where small fruits and fruit trees are cultivated, as well as aromatic herbs and seasonal vegetables, soft wheat, and some other cereals. Cascina Morone - Agriturismo Il Biancospino
It is an agricultural enterprise dedicated to dog breeding in all its forms: Breeding, Training, and Professional Education.

Soulfood Forestfarm Hub Italia in collaboration with CasciNet
Soulfood Forestfarms Hub Italia is a Social Enterprise and Social Promotion Association with the aim of facilitating the ecological transition of territories and communities.
CasciNet is a non-profit association composed of individuals who share a dream: to restore Cascina Sant’Ambrogio as an important site for accessible urban agriculture and economy. The Cascina is a place rich in culture, memory, and practices that need to be rethought and integrated with the needs of our contemporary times.
The "Adopt a Hen" project is part of a rational grazing system within the first layered agroforestry system with over 10,000 trees, including fruit trees, cultivated without external inputs and no irrigation system. This is a project by soulfoodforestfarmshubitalia in collaboration with cascinet_agrohub, and it is monitored for ecosystem service production by the University of Milan.
